Fostering Community Support by NWPCPA Law Enforcement Through Mini-Grants
The majority of citizens in every community appreciate a safe and secure quality of life. Those law-abiding citizens also support their law enforcement agency made up of the men and women willing to sacrifice their lives to protect others. The NWPCPA wants to help those citizens who support law enforcement by issuing mini-grants to individuals or organizations willing to provide events that bring law enforcement and communities together. Past grant partnerships include the Erie Bureau of Police Police Athletic League, Gannon University Student Safety Initiative, and Youngsville Police Department Citizens Police Academy.
The NWPCPA is proud to partner with mysafejourney.org by providing a grant to the PurpleOne Conference on May 7, 2026. The conference will provide training to police officers and other first responders in dealing with domestic violence issues, foster collaboration, and inspire action and hope.
Grant ideas for events can be submitted to the NWPCPA via the contact section of our website.
